PAC Workshop on Verdigris Hisotry and Deterioration

The IFLA Preservation and Conservation Regional Center for Arab and Middle East countries at Qatar National Library is organizing the workshop "Various Greens in Persian Paintings with Reference to Copper Green Verdigris and its Deterioration and Stabilization". The workshop will be conducted by Mandana Barkeshli.

UN report: 10th anniversary of the mandate in cultural rights

To mark the 10th anniversary of the mandate on cultural rights and the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Special Rapporteur in the field of cultural rights has written a report to give an overview of the work of her mandate including suggestions for strategies for advancing cultural rights during the next decade.

Training Course: Practical Methods for the Scientific Examination of Library Objects

Books for Better Societies: Call for World Book Capital 2021 Candidates Open

UNESCO has opened the call for candidates for the city which will be World Book Capital (WBC) for a year from 23 April 2021. IFLA encourages cities which are realising the potential of libraries to apply.

Qatar National Library and UNESCO support Arab Documentary Heritage Preservation
