The IFLA Latin America and the Caribbean Section are seeking proposals for papers to be presented at Satellite Meeting in Timisoara (Romania) of the World Library and Information Congress 2017 in Wroclaw, Poland.

The Latin American and Caribbean Section of IFLA is organizing this satellite meeting before the World Library and Information Congress, in Timişoara, ROMANIA, with the sponsorship of West University of Timişoara, Faculty of Political Sciences, Philosophy and Communication Sciences (LIS); The Romanian Library Association; and the Romanian Society for Philosophy Engineering and Technoethics.

The satellite location will be in the beautiful Timişoara town of Romania, called “Little Vienna”, and a 2021 Cultural Capital of Europe. There are direct flights from Madrid and Barcelona and other European cities.  Reachable by bus or train from Budapest and Belgrade, 3 hours approximately. There are also air and train services connections between Timişoara and Wroclaw, Poland, site of the IFLA Congress. Budget accommodation will be available at the University, or regular lodging at Timişoara’s hotels.
