IFLA Global Vision North America passes the torch to Africa

On 3-4 May 2017, IFLA held a successful Global Vision Regional Workshop in North America at the iconic Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. Representatives from national, state and regional library associations, as well as national, state, school, public, law, special, academic and research libraries contributed to an inclusive discussion about how a united and connected library field can meet the challenges of the future.
The next stop of this exciting journey is Yaoundé, Cameroon!
After two days of lively and inspiring discussions, our North American colleagues asked IFLA Secretary General Gerald Leitner to send the following greetings and wishes to our African colleagues, thereby passing the torch of IFLA’s Global Vision Discussion from North America to Africa:

The next IFLA Global Vision Regional Workshop will take place on 14-15 May 2017 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. We can’t wait to continue this Global Vision journey in Africa!
