On December 14 at 11:30 (CET), join us for a 30-minute webinar to learn more about the role of IFLA at the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), and how IFLA advocates for public access in libraries worldwide and how you can engage and help move things forward. The speaker will be Stephen Wyber, Manager, Policy and Advocacy at IFLA.

Libraries and their users are increasingly reliant on access to an open Internet in order to find and apply information. As well as a lack of connectivity, restrictions or blocks on access, low confidence or skills among users can harm our ability to realise this potential. IFLA engages in discussions about how the Internet works in order to ensure that libraries' interests are protected, and their potential promoted.
