Organized by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México through the Dirección General de Bibliotecas, the XVI International Conference on University Libraries will be held on 24-26 October 2018.

In the horizon of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the Global Vision initiative by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), new opportunities arise for libraries to contribute, together with institutions and society, to face the challenges of the future.

This conference aims to analyze and explore the necessary actions of university libraries in helping to achieve innovation and excellence that institutions propose. And their role in teaching, research and dissemination of culture.

IFLA President Glòria Pérez-Salmerón, and IFLA Governing Board Member, Victoria Okojie, will deliver keynote lectures at the Conference.
